President Maduro emphasized the “universal, direct, and secret” nature of these elections, presenting this approach as an example of democracy.

The president’s rhetoric also evokes a historical narrative that goes back to the ideals of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez, suggesting that this new judicial system is part of a revolutionary legacy.

“We are going to build a society of equals—fair, respected, and valued—as Simón Bolívar dreamed and as the great architect of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez, initiated,” he said.

In this sense, President Maduro not only seeks to legitimize his government by linking it with revered historical figures but also projects an image of continuity and progress in the construction of socialism for the 21st century.
