The advisor to the President of the State for International Affairs and special envoy of the State of Palestine, Riad Malki, highlighted the commitment of the member nations of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Treaty on Trade of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP) to the defense of justice and sovereignty during the XXIV Summit of ALBA-TCP, held in Caracas.
Malki emphasized that ALBA transcends a mere political or economic alliance, representing an “invincible human spirit” and a commitment to the universal principles of solidarity and resistance against oppression.

He pointed out that countries like Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, and Nicaragua have taken firm positions by refusing to establish diplomatic relations with Israel while the occupation persists. These actions, according to Malki, are a clear statement that “justice and accountability are not negotiable.”
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro also spoke in this context, declaring Palestine a “brother country” and a permanent guest of ALBA-TCP.
The summit reaffirmed its solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the crimes against humanity committed in Gaza and supporting all actions necessary to guarantee the right of the Palestinian people to peace and an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
In this context, ALBA-TCP is reaffirming itself as a political and social bloc that defends the independence and self-determination of its peoples, celebrating 20 years since its foundation.
The summit brings together leaders from several member countries and seeks to strengthen cooperation and solidarity in a regional context marked by economic and political challenges.
