Iran, Russia and China, three BRICS member countries (political and economic association, group and forum of emerging countries, which has been established as an international space alternative to the G7) coordinate a strategy of diplomatic and military support for the Palestinian cause.

In this regard Abbas said they had discussed the BRICS that “we reached an oral agreement that Palestine would be invited as observer” and expressed his hope that “this project can be implemented within the framework of a BRICS meeting”.
Those countries have also committed to a future long-term plan to the infrastructure economic and political reconstruction of the occupied territories.
