Earlier this month, Nebenzia condemned what he described as a rising tide of disinformation from European media, which alleged that Russia intended to bomb Ukrainian nuclear plants.

Rusia has accused Ukraine of planning attacks on its nuclear power plants, presenting this claim during a United Nations Security Council session.

 Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vasili Nebenzia, stated that Moscow possesses evidence showing that Western intelligence agencies, particularly Britain’s MI6, are training Ukrainian sabotage groups to orchestrate provocations at Russian nuclear facilities.

 Nebenzia emphasized that this information is reliable and reflects ongoing Western interference in the region.

Earlier this month, Nebenzia condemned what he described as a rising tide of disinformation from European media, which alleged that Russia intended to bomb Ukrainian nuclear plants.

He asserted that such narratives aim to distract from the actions of the Ukrainian government, which he characterized as criminal.

Additionally, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service reported plans for an attack on the Kursk nuclear power plant, indicating potential threats to nuclear security in the region. Alexei Likhachov, head of Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom, criticized Ukrainian authorities for ignoring nuclear safety protocols while allegedly targeting Russian nuclear cities.
