Putin arrives in Hanoi after his trip to North Korea, in this visit will sign agreements of strategic cooperation and mutual benefit.
On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at Vietnam’s Noi Bai airport. This would be the fifth official visit of the president to the Southeast Asian country.

Putin arrives in Hanoi after his trip to North Korea, in this visit will sign agreements of strategic cooperation and mutual benefit.
The Russian leader will be received on Thursday by the president, the prime minister and the head of the National Assembly, as the Kremlin said in a statement.
He will also make a wreath at the memorial to the fallen and at the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese leader who died in 1969.
During his visit the Russian leader will address the state and development prospects of the “comprehensive strategic partnership” between the two countries in the economic, commercial, technological and humanitarian fields, in addition to “to exchange views on international news and the regional agenda”.
It will also sign 20 bilateral agreements on mutual cooperation and development between Vietnam and Russia.
Putin, who was last in this country in 2017, is scheduled to meet tomorrow with the secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, the most powerful man in the country, ally of the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
