Several Dead and Wounded After Israeli Shelling in the Gaza Strip

Several local media reported that on the early morning of Wednesday 9 October (local time), several people died in a new wave of Israeli bombing in areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian news agency, after the event, paramedics were able to recover four bodies from a family home in the Bureij camp located in the center of the strip.
In addition, the Saftawi area west of Gaza City was simultaneously attacked by Israeli drones and a fighter aircraft fired at a vehicle at the entrance to the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the strip.
During these events, two young people are known to have died.
Gaza Civil Defence said the plane was heading for a house near the Basat market, east of Gaza City, where another attack was also reported, with an unknown number of victims.
Al Jazeera, a Qatari broadcaster, reports that one of its cameramen in Gaza, 27-year-old Ali al Attar, is seriously injured after being the victim of an Israeli bombing that hit the Martyrs’ Hospital in AlAzsa, in the centre of the strip.
At the time of impact, the young man was in the hospital, a location he used to work, taking advantage of its electrical service.
