St Vincent and the Grenadines’ PM Says His Country Developed Thanks to Alba Bank, Petrocaribe, Cuba and Venezuela

During his intervention in the ALBA-TCP XXIV Summit, the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, said his country reached high development due to the cooperation mechanisms of the t the Bolivarian Alliance.

“We went from an average level of development to a high one, this is thanks to the significant contribution of the ALBA Bank, PETROCARIBE, Cuba and Venezuela,” Gonsalves said at the Summit held in Caracas on Saturday.
The PM highlighted that member countries of the regional alliance are united by geography, history and the “fever of that story we have become a compromise.”
“Suddenly USA. has become a people who only try others, they say have the manifest destiny to command” said the PM about the recent and constant interventions and harassment of the Northern country in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“In the year 2000, the US Supreme Court of Justice. decided who was the winner of the presidential election, then in Venezuela the electoral authority made a decision and then this authority referred it to the Supreme Court of Venezuela, and then you are going to tell me now that you did something similar, You will say that what Venezuela did was inferior to what you did Who gave you the authority to judge?
In contrast, Gonsalves sended a message to his “American friends” saying that ALBA is “love, complementarity.” “In the U.S. Instead of seeing this world as a time to bring about peace for all, we have a sense that those who have been victorious think they are omniscient, think they know everything and can do everything.”
About the Cuba’s continued inclusion on the list of states that allegedly sponsor terrorism, the Prime Minister said that “the US has Cuba on the list of countries that sponsor terrorism, but the only act of terrorism I have seen in the Caribbean is the bombing of the Cubana de Aviación aircraft and the culprit was a CIA agent.”
