The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, arrived in Algeria after participating in the XVI BRICS Summit. On his Telegram account, he expressed: “After a successful day at the XVI BRICS Summit, where we reaffirmed our truth and ratified our commitment to building a new world for the development of independent peoples, we have arrived in Algeria.”

Maduro was warmly welcomed by Algerian Prime Minister Mohamed Nadir Larbaoui. The Venezuelan president thanked him for the hospitality.

“What joy it is to be back in the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria. I thank your Prime Minister for such a warm welcome to this brotherly African country,” he stated.
