The Southern Belt Emergency Room reported today, Tuesday, the killing of “20” civilians, including “4” children and two women, as a result of an air strike carried out by the Sudanese army’s aviation.

The institution stated on its Facebook account that the raid targeted the Sahrij area this afternoon and resulted in the killing of “20” people whose bodies were found charred, in addition to the injury of “27” others, including women and children.

Since mid-April, the army and the RSF have been engaged in violent clashes in the capital, Khartoum, and other cities, leaving about 4,000 dead, most of them civilians, and more than “4” million displaced and refugees inside and outside the country, according to humanitarian organizations reports.

These airstrikes carried out by the army with the aim of targeting the RSF in these areas have become a humanitarian disaster because most of these victims are civilians as a result of this indiscriminate bombing.

These ongoing incidents of airstrikes raise questions about the legitimacy of these military operations and their impact on civilians in these areas.
