Syrian: Army Launches Offensive in Aleppo Against Terrorists

On Thursday, the Syrian Arab Army launched a heavy artillery offensive against the terrorist group Front al-Nusra in the areas of Aleppo and Idlib, an operation that left the radical group with significant damage, both material and human.

The most heavily hit sites were Bara, Deir Sinbal and Maarbalbeit, which were attacked in Idlib, while in Aleppo the settlements of Darat izzah and Qubtan al-Jabal were bombed.
«Our armed forces responded to the terrorist attack, which is still ongoing, and the attacking terrorist organizations suffered heavy losses in equipment and lives. Our forces are confronting the terrorist organizations with various means of fire and in cooperation with friendly forces,» said the Syrian Armed Forces.
The most aggressive attacks carried out by the military in recent years.
About 100 terrorist casualties are reported, although other sources refer to around 200 terrorists being eliminated, many of them from other nationalities.
