Venezuelan far-right leader María Corina Machado has not been detained in Venezuela, as hegemonic media have claimed, confirmed this Thursday the news multiplatform teleSUR.

Through a video recorded by María Corina Machado herself, she denies her alleged detention and stressed that she is well and safe, after participating in Thursday’s march in Caracas.
Machado’s statements are contrary to the information disclosed by her team and the hegemonic media.
The team of the far-right opposition leader had previously spread on social networks that the head of the Con Venezuela Command, Magali Meda, had confirmed that Machado had allegedly been detained.
According to reports, the truth was that she ran out of gas and police officers had to help her.
This dissemination of false information by her team demonstrates the degree of manipulation to which the Latin American right wing is exposed.
