The Republican politician feels he is the bearer of a ‘tide of change’ that heralds a new era of national success.

On Monday, Donald Trump began his speech as 47th U.S. President by declaring that the golden age of the America would begin at that very moment with his inauguration.

“From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer,” Trump said.

In the opening parts of his inaugural address, the Republican politician questioned the integrity and impartiality of the Justice Department.

“The scales of justice will be rebalanced. The vicious, violent and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and government will end,” said Trump, who feels he is the bearer of a tide of change that is sweeping the United States and beginning “a thrilling new era of national success.”

“Sunlight is pouring over the entire world and America has the chance to seize this opportunity like never before… America’s decline is over,” he emphasized, announcing that the change will come very quickly.

In this regard, Trump made reference to the ongoing decline of his country, which is evident in the crisis of the education and health care system.

“My recent election is a mandate to completely and totally reverse a horrible betrayal, and all of these many betrayals that have taken place, and to give the people back their faith, their wealth, their democracy and, indeed, their freedom. From this moment on, America’s decline is over,” he said.

The Republican politician attacked the migrants as always, arguing that, despite the “unlimited funding granted for the defense of the border, the U.S. government had failed “to protect our magnificent law-abiding citizens but provides sanctuary and protection for dangerous criminals.”

Trump pompously called his inauguration “The Liberation Day,” saying he hopes the 2024 election will be remembered “as the greatest and most consequential election in the history of our country.”

Flaunting the nationalism associated with his “Make America Great Again” ideology, Trump promised to rename the “Gulf of Mexico” the “Gulf of America” ​​and “take back” the Panama Canal.

“China is operating the Panama Canal. But we didn’t give it to China. We gave it to Panama, and we’re going to take it back,” he said.

“We have been treated very badly by this reckless gift that we were never supposed to give and the Panama promise has been broken. The purpose of our agreement and the spirit of our treaty has been totally violated. American ships are being overtaxed and not treated fairly,” he said.

“America will reclaim its rightful place as the greatest and most powerful and most respected nation on Earth, inspiring the admiration of the entire world.”
