“At the last moment, the Netherlands denied the arrival of the Simon Bolivar training ship to Curaçao, which was scheduled for July 3. Another wrong step from the archaic and nefarious European arrogance,” he said.

“This does not divert us from the path of integration in a region that calls for the end of colonialism,” the high-ranking Bolivarian official added, although he did not specify the reasons why the Netherlands denied entry to the Venezuelan training ship.

On April 20, the Simon Bolivar ship set sail on its 34th overseas training cruise, heading to various Caribbean islands, Mexico, Colombia, and Honduras.

The text reads, “The Simon Bolivar Training Ship is more than a vessel. It is a symbol of peace and friendship. Venezuela, thank you for visiting us!” The inner text reads, “Proud of our ambassador without borders. Long live Venezuela.”

“We are going to carry the voice of resistance against the declared war on Venezuela by various forms and means,” Gen. Padrino stated at the departure of the ship from La Guaira port.

The Venezuelan training ship will travel for 84 days to eight ports in the region and is scheduled to return to its homeland on July 13.

On May 25, the Simon Bolivar ship arrived in Honduras, where the Central American country’s Navy had the opportunity to “evaluate knowledge and learning in the field,” according to Honduran Foreign Minister Eduardo Reina.
