‘We’re going to shake the foundations of the bourgeois state,’ he stressed.

From November 14 to 16, Venezuelans will participate in a “Grand National Congress,” where they will discuss development proposals stemming from over 90,000 assemblies, which were held across the country with the involvement of 3.2 million citizens.

“Currently, in which country does a sitting and re-elected President call upon the entire population to reflect on the homeland and build the future?,” Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said in a meeting with the coordinators of the “Five Generations Forging the Bolivarian Revolution”, namely, the Heroic Precursor Generation, the Founding Generation, the Golden Intermediate Generation, the Young Generation, and the Brilliant Generation.

In this meeting, which aimed to generate a discussion agenda to analyze the process of transformation and the territorialization of public policies, Maduro stated that upcoming Grand National Congress should deliver three main outcomes.

In line with the “Seven Transformations” development plan, the first result must be the construction of a new hegemony that allows for the construction of a true and inclusive democracy to empower Venezuelans.

The Seven Tranformation plan covers the period from 2025 to 2031. It is based on Commander Hugo Chavez’s strategic planning approach and aims to address the country’s needs.

A second expected outcome is the refoundation of the Venezuelan State, which will be based on justice and direct democracy, with a focus on territory and people. “We are going to shake the foundations of the bourgeois state and build a communal, democratic, and popular state,” Maduro declared.

Finally, the third outcome to be achieved is Vision 2054, a plan through which Venezuela will establish itself as a Latin American power. “This is a great task!” said the Bolivarian leader, urging all Venezuelans to join in this objective.

Also present at today’s meeting at the Miraflores Palace were National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez, the Five Revolutionary Generations Coordinator Francisco Ameliach, and several members of the Precursor Generation, including Maria Leon, Noeli Pocaterra, Marelis Marcano, and Fernando Soto.
