The obsessive policy of the Monroe Doctrine supports the attack on Bolivarian institutions, FM Gil noted.

On Tuesday, Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Minister Yvan Gil issued a statement through which the Bolivarian Government strongly rejected the latest remarks by the United States Secretary of State against Venezuelan institutions. Below is the official statement.

Venezuela To Demand Reparations From Spain for Colonial Plunder

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly rejects the latest remarks by the U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, who, having become a mouthpiece for infamous lobbyists, remains stuck in a false and monotonous narrative against the will of the Venezuelan people. He persists in his complicity with the violent far-right extremists who have long sought to harm our country.

President Nicolas Maduro Moros’s victory on July 28 was not only a demonstration of the popular support enjoyed by the Bolivarian Revolution but also an exercise in dignity and a resounding rejection of the aggressions that the U.S. government has been carrying out against Venezuela for more than a decade, now attempting to revive the failed Guaido plan.

The obsessive policy of the Monroe Doctrine, along with the neocolonial and imperial behavior of the U.S. government, underpins their support for fascist groups in their ongoing attacks against Venezuelan institutions, including media and social media manipulation, the use of mercenaries, and attempts at assassination and destabilization. All of these actions have been, and will continue to be, obliterated through the full exercise of revolutionary democracy enshrined in the Bolivarian Constitution.

Venezuela will continue on its path toward economic, social, and political prosperity, despite the hostile operations and criminal hatred stemming from the government of Mr. Blinken, whom we once again urge to focus on the serious issues he faces and to finally desist from constantly interfering in matters that are solely the concern of Venezuelans, who loudly tell his lackeys: ‘They will not return!'”
