“We condemn the inhumane deportation of hundreds of Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador by the Trump administration. Migrants’ rights must be respected. The U.S. and the European Union must immediately revoke the hateful sanctions against Venezuela, which violate human rights and the self-determination of the Venezuelan people,” the Center for Research and Elaboration on Democracy (CRED) stated, stressing, “Viva Bolivar, Chavez, and Maduro.”

In a similar vein, the Antifascist International, Iran Chapter, issued a statement condemning the brutal treatment of Venezuelan immigrants by the U.S. government.

“Global arrogance has torn away all veils of deception and hypocrisy. What was once used to exploit and colonize the weaker nations of the world under the colorful veneer of democracy, human rights, and humanity is now openly imposed upon the peoples of various nations. In this context, we see a clear example of this hypocrisy in the fascist behavior of the U.S. government towards Venezuelan immigrants,” it said.

The Antifascist International, Iran Chapter, emphasized that the U.S. president’s foreign policy is revealing the true nature of a country that Western mainstream media often present as a defender of human rights—an image that has been used as a deceptive cover for intervening in sovereign nations and plundering their human and natural resources.

“The true face of colonialism, arrogance, and imperialism has been exposed. The world has witnessed this violence in the atrocious massacre and the pressure to displace millions of people from their ancestral homeland in Gaza… Today, we witness the same shameless treatment towards the Venezuelan people,” the Iranian organization said and highlighted the role that the Venezuelan far right has played in structuring the economic war against the Bolivarian nation.

“With the complicity of a few traitors willing to sacrifice their people’s well-being for selfish interests, the U.S. tramples on the security and national sovereignty of independent countries, imposing historically severe sanctions. When the victims of these cruel sanctions are forced to migrate against their will, under pretexts of drug trafficking and terrorism, they are sent to the prisons of subordinate countries to be incarcerated and tortured, like slaves deprived of all human rights.”

The Antifascist International, Iran Chapter, emphasized that the stigmatization of nearly 600,000 Venezuelans residing in the United States is a fascist and inhumane ploy that the Trump administration uses to pressure the Bolivarian government led by President Nicolas Maduro.

“From a land at the heart of the anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist resistance in West Asia, the Antifascist International, Iran Chapter, declares its deep solidarity with the Bolivarian government and people, expresses its strong protest against the inhumane treatment of Venezuelan immigrants by the U.S. government, and calls on all free people of the world to join us in this protest.”
