Previously, President Trump also decided to suspend all military shipments to Kyiv.

On Wednesday, John Ratcliffe, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), confirmed that the United States has halted the exchange of intelligence information with Ukraine.

The decision was made following a dispute with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office last week, Ratcliffe stated, describing the measure as “a pause on the military front, on the intelligence front, to hold everyone accountable for promoting peace worldwide.”

The interruption of intelligence sharing from the United States will severely hinder the Ukrainian military’s ability to target Russian forces, the newspaper RT commented.

However, Washington will continue to share intelligence with its closest allies, including the United Kingdom. Nevertheless, according to information from the Daily Mail newspaper, the U.S. has prohibited the British from supplying any classified information to Ukraine.

On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump decided to suspend all military shipments to Kyiv, including American weaponry that has not yet arrived in Ukraine.

Along with the cessation of military and intelligence support from the U.S., experts indicate that Ukraine may be able to sustain the current pace of combat for a few weeks or, perhaps, until early summer.

“The impact will be enormous. I would call it ‘crippling,'” said Mark Cancian, an advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. According to the expert, the true effects of the aid cutoff will be felt within two to four months, as European assistance is allowing Ukraine to continue its war against Russia.
