Former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, is in the lead after the initial election results, accumulating a total of 95 electoral votes. Trump has secured the majority of votes in several states, including Indiana (11), Kentucky (8), West Virginia (4), Tennessee (11), Mississippi (6), Alabama (9), Florida (30), and South Carolina (9).

On the other hand, current Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has obtained 35 electoral votes so far, thanks to her victories in Vermont (3), Massachusetts (11), Connecticut (7), Rhode Island (4), and Maryland (10).

It is important to note that although states are shown in blue (Democratic) or red (Republican), this does not imply that all votes in the state have gone to a single party.

Lighter colors indicate a trend toward the corresponding party but do not guarantee that party will ultimately win the state.
