The secretary explained that his country, during the administration of the current president Joseph Biden, has identified the Asian giant as a “challenge for the pace”.
The Secretary of State of the United States (US), Anthony Blinken, in the context of the Annual Summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) held in Washington (capital) affirmed that new levels of agreement were reached, against China’s role in Asia.

To achieve this, according to Blinken, they will act as “a bridge” between the European part of the Atlantic and the Indian region of the Pacific.
“If you look at what NATO has said in the strategic concept, if you look at what key Europeans have said, what the European Union has said, it is very clear that we now have more convergence than ever on how to deal with China”, underlined the senior American politician.
Meanwhile, the secretary explained that his country, during the administration of the current US president, Joseph Biden, has identified the Asian giant as a “challenge for the pace”.
They also find China as a nation that puts national security at risk.
It should be emphasized that at the beginning of this month, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg asked members of the organization to put “a cost to China”, this allegedly because the Asian country feeds “the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II”, supplying Russia with dual-use tools such as microelectronic components.
In addition, Stoltenberg stressed that it is of utmost importance to “recognize the reality” posed by a threat from China.
