Over the past hours, U.S. warplanes have bombed multiple areas across Yemen, with a particular focus on the capital, Sana’a, and the governorates of Saada, Al Bayda, Al Jawf, and Al Hudaydah.

Reports from Sana’a indicate that airstrikes have targeted areas surrounding the Ministry of Communications and the Postal Authority. Other attacks by U.S. aviation were concentrated in the districts of Zabid (Al Hudaydah), Al-Hazm (Al-Jawf), and Al-Suwaydiyah (Al-Bayda).

International media reported that a prior attack on Wednesday against Sana’a left at least seven women and two minors injured. The victims were inside an under-construction event hall when the strikes occurred.

The White House has recently intensified its attacks on Yemen in an effort to pressure the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) into ending their militant solidarity with Palestine and lifting their blockade on Israeli-affiliated ships.

The U.S. assaults, carried out with the participation of British warplanes, resumed on Saturday, March 15, under direct orders from President Donald Trump. By Sunday, March 16, the bombings had already resulted in at least 50 deaths, the majority being women and children, despite Washington’s claims that the strikes aim to eliminate Ansar Allah’s leadership.

The movement has repeatedly affirmed that it will not abandon its support for Gaza, where Israel’s occupation forces continue to commit an open genocide with the complicity of the U.S. and other imperialist powers. Since October 7, Israeli forces have killed 49,547 Palestinians in Gaza, leaving hundreds of thousands wounded and tens of thousands missing.

Ansar Allah has also made it clear that their blockade is solely directed at the Zionist entity, accusing it of violating the ceasefire agreement with Hamas, halting humanitarian aid to Gaza, closing border crossings, and resuming its brutal bombardments. The latest Israeli attacks have resulted in nearly a thousand more Palestinian casualties.
