UN Reports Six Employees Killed in Two Israeli Attacks on Gaza

The United Nations (UN) Organization for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported the deaths of six people in two air strikes on and around a school in Nuseirat camp, in the Gaza Strip.

“Six UNRWA colleagues were killed today when two airstrikes hit a school and its surroundings in Nuseirat, in the central areas. This is the highest number of deaths among our staff in a single incident,” the UN reported on social network X.
Israel also attacked another agency school serving as a shelter.
According to the UN, “this is the fifth attack in the same location in the last 11 months, despite the fact that the area had been designated as safe in coordination with the Israeli security forces”.
He also said that among the dead was a camp chief and other members of the team assisting displaced persons.
Since 7 October, health authorities have reported that at least 41,000 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 95,000 injured. At least 10,000 people are also believed to be missing, probably under the rubble of the area’s infrastructure.
