In a significant intensification of its military intervention, the United States carried out a total of 15 airstrikes across various areas of Yemen on Wednesday night, specifically targeting districts south and northeast of the capital Sana’a.
According to reports from Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, the raids focused on several strategic locations including the Jarban area in Sanhan district, as well as Khadham and Jabal al-Jamimah in Bani Hoshish.
The journalist’s detailed report indicates the offensive included eight airstrikes in Jarban, while five others struck Khadham and al-Jamimah. Additionally, U.S. fighter jets bombed areas near Sana’a International Airport, which could have significant implications for civilian infrastructure and regional transportation.
Separately, Washington also resumed strikes in Sahar district of Saada province at dawn on Wednesday, reflecting an escalation of military operations in northern Yemen. This series of bombings occurs amid growing tensions in Yemen, where civil war has created a devastating humanitarian crisis.
The U.S. military actions have raised concerns about their impact on civilian populations and the potential to increase instability in a nation already suffering from years of conflict.
