President Nicolas Maduro announced the activation of all the Organs for the Direction of Integral Defense of Venezuela (ODDI) in the states and municipalities of the country, with the aim of strengthening peace and security in Venezuela.

During an official event, President Maduro stressed the importance of these bodies as essential mechanisms for the defense of the national territory.

The Sectoral Vice-President of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, emphasized that the ODDI are fundamental to the civic-military-police union, highlighting their role in promoting peace in the country.

“These organizations are an expression of the will of the Venezuelan people to defend their sovereignty,” said Padrino.

Rodríguez stated that these actions are necessary to protect the country from possible armed attacks and maintain public calm.

President Maduro reaffirmed his determination to guarantee peace in Venezuela against attempts at aggression by imperialism, assuring that “peace will reign in our nation.”
