In a significant step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation, Venezuela and India signed an agreement during the International Tourism Fair (Fitven) Táchira, which promises to open new tourist opportunities between both nations. The agreement was signed between the Venezuelan company Meilin Tours C.A. and the Indian company Loyal Med Tours, in an event that highlights the tourism potential of the Andean state.
The Governor of Táchira state, Freddy Bernal, along with Meilin Tours President Yadrina Chacón and Loyal Med Executive Director Nain Singh, led the signing ceremony. During his speech, Bernal emphasized the importance of this agreement as a first step towards establishing a strong tourism link between India and Venezuela.
“This agreement opens the doors to the tourist relationship between India and Venezuela through the state of Táchira, where they can enjoy our natural beauty, gastronomy, and the warmth of our people,” he said.
