In the context of the International Conference on Solidarity with Palestine, the Attorney General of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, highlighted the deep spiritual and human connection that unites the peoples of Palestine, Lebanon, and Venezuela in their struggle against fascism.

During his speech, Saab stressed that Venezuela is consolidating itself as an international bastion for those who seek independence and justice against the aggressions of Zionism and other forms of oppression.

Saab denounced the media manipulation that transforms the perpetrators of crimes into defenders of freedom, ignoring the suffering inflicted by the Israeli state on Palestinian territories and other nations in the region.

“Israel commits genocide, human rights violations, and war crimes,” he said, emphasizing the impunity surrounding these heinous acts. This impunity, according to Saab, is a veil that conceals the reality of genocide and modern Nazism.

The attorney general also echoed recent events in Venezuela, recalling how the country managed to resist an attempt by far-right forces to destabilize it.

He specifically mentioned Maria Corina Machado, who requested military support from Israel to intervene in Venezuela—an action that Saab compared with the aggression suffered by Gaza.

This phenomenon, he described as a “hybrid genocide” that uses tactics such as lawfare and unilateral sanctions to strip the Venezuelan people of their resources and rights.

In his speech, Saab criticized opposition figures who have oscillated between participating in electoral processes and promoting violence, highlighting a lack of consistency in their political discourse.

He emphasized how these actions are part of a larger plot to destabilize the country through violence and foreign intervention.

The conference served not only as a space to express solidarity with Palestine but also as a forum to reaffirm the joint resistance of nations facing similar aggression.

Saab concluded his speech with a call for unity and continued struggle against the forces of fascism that threaten sovereignty and human rights in various parts of the world
