The Bolivarian nation ratified its commitment to building a multipolar world order based on peace.
On Friday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro sent a message to Chinese President Xi Jinping, expressing joy on the first anniversary of the establishment of the “All-Weather and All-Time Strategic Partnership” between the two nations.

“On September 13, 2023, a historic presidential summit was held in Beijing, where both leaders reached broad agreements and concurred that Venezuela and China are entering a new phase of bilateral and international relations,” stated the Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Ministry.
“This shows that the relationship is solid as a rock and will only continue to grow in the years to come, fulfilling the legacy initiated by leaders Hugo Chavez and Jiang Zemin,” it added.
Bolivarian diplomacy also reiterated Venezuela’s commitment to continue working towards strengthening relations with China, with the aim of ensuring greater well-being for both nations and building a multipolar world order based on peace and adherence to international law.
“The strong relations between Venezuela and China are governed by the principles of self-determination and sovereign equality of states, inspired by the highest human values that should guide the community of nations and their shared destiny,” emphasized the Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Ministry.
In Chinese diplomatic practice, the designation “”All-Weather and All-Time Strategic Partnership” is a label reserved to highlight special relationships with a select few partners.
Currently, besides cultivating this special relationship, Venezuela actively supports China’s Belt and Road Initiative to promote global trade infrastructure. The Bolivarian nation also seeks to become part of BRICS, an economic cooperation bloc led by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
