This December 10, Venezuela joins the international community in commemorating International Human Rights Day. In this context, the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil Pinto, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian government to defend and uphold these rights at both national and global levels.

This indicates a renewed interest in re-establishing dialogue and cooperation on human rights issues in a country that has faced significant controversy and criticism in this area.
The official statement highlights that Venezuela, as a guardian of the principles of Simón Bolívar, is inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), celebrating not only its anniversary but also the global commitment it represents.
