Venezuela Condemns Terrorist Attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries, Expresses Solidarity with Türkiye

Through the statement, the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela indicated that these attacks “seek to undermine the tranquility of the brotherly country,” while reaffirming its bonds of solidarity with Türkiye.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela declared on a statement shared in his Telegram channel that “Venezuela firmly rejects the terrorist attack committed today, October 23, 2024, against the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), located in the district of Kahramankazan, Ankara, Republic of Türkiye.”
On Wednesday, October 23, in the afternoon, intense explosions were heard from a facility of the Turkish aerospace company Tusaş in Ankara (TAI). Witnesses reported gunfire following the explosions.
“Two terrorists, a woman and a man, were neutralized. Unfortunately, we have 4 martyrs and 14 injured. Three of our injured are in critical condition,” stated Ali Yerlikaya, the Interior Minister of Türkiye.
According to eyewitnesses and videos shared on social media, a group of armed individuals began firing at people present at the location.
Through the statement, the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela indicated that these attacks “seek to undermine the tranquility of the brotherly country,” while reaffirming its bonds of solidarity with Türkiye.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its unconditional friendship and unrestricted solidarity with the Turkish Government and People and takes this opportunity to reiterate, within the framework of international law and Bolivarian diplomacy for peace, its categorical repudiation of terrorism and any act of violence intended to instill terror and distress in the civilian population,” concluded the statement.
