Venezuela Condemns the Zionist Agressions Against the Palestinian People

In the West Bank, Zionist incursions have caused more than 650 deaths during 2024, including at least 147 children.

Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, Yvan Gil, condemned on Wednesday the recent attacks by the Zionist army of Israel against the Palestinian people.

In a statement published via Telegram, Gil stressed “Venezuela expresses its strongest repudiation and condemnation of the new incursion perpetrated by the murderous and genocidal Israeli government, in the northern West Bank, against the cities, towns and fields of Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas and other Palestinian cities, this 28th of August 2024, causing 34 deaths, dozens of injuries and countless infrastructure damage”.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Red Crescent, Ahmed Yibril, reported that 10 people were killed and 22 wounded in the northern West Bank.

Yibril claimed that two were killed in the city of Jenin, four in another attack on a vehicle in a nearby town and four in a refugee camp near the city of Tubas.

The official reported that the bodies of the victims were recovered, except for two children, one 13 and the other 17, who died in the refugee camp of Fara, in Tubas.

On the other hand, the Islamist movement denounced the Islamic Jihad «This is an attempt by the Israeli entity to impose new facts on the ground aimed at subjugating the occupied West Bank, annexing it and asserting its control over our sacred sites in an existential war against the Palestinian people».

Two Palestinians were killed in the city of Jenin, four in a car bombing in a nearby township and another four in a refugee camp near the town of Tubas, said Ahmed Yibril, a spokesman for the OENEGÉ, who also reported “15 injured”.

The Palestinian deputy foreign minister, Ahmad al-Dik, accused Israel of using the same methods as in Gaza: announcing a forced evacuation for people to flee their homes, then demolishing their houses and destroying infrastructure.
