The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has strongly condemned the airstrike carried out by Israel in Damascus, Syria, on November 14, 2024, which resulted in at least 15 deaths and 16 injuries, including women and children.

 This attack, which targeted government structures and diplomatic missions, as well as the residence of the Venezuelan ambassador in Syria, has been described as a terrorist act that represents a systematic violation of the sovereignty of nations and a threat to regional and global peace.

 “Venezuela reiterates the call to all international actors to coordinate joint actions to immediately halt these acts of war,” stated the announcement.

Reports indicate that Israeli forces launched missiles from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, striking several residential buildings in the Mezzah neighborhood and the Qudsaya area.

This incident is considered one of the deadliest in recent months for the Syrian capital, with initial reports indicating significant material damage to nearby properties.

“The Bolivarian Government abhors the practice of terrorism in all its forms, as it constitutes one of the gravest threats to peace and security on the planet,” it reiterated.

 The Bolivarian Government concluded by expressing its solidarity with the Syrian people and government, offering condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery to the injured.
