Venezuela is preparing for the XVII International Tourism Fair (FITVen) 2024, which will be held from November 28 to December 1 in Táchira. The Venezuelan Minister of Tourism, Leticia Gomez, emphasized the importance of the fair in generating business and investment opportunities, as well as promoting the cultural and natural wealth of the country.

During a recent meeting with Aquinas Clarke, Barbados’ ambassador to Venezuela, Gomez reaffirmed the Bolivarian government’s commitment to promoting tourism as an engine of economic and social development.

“The state of Táchira is ready to host the fair in the city of cordiality,” said Gómez, who also confirmed Barbados’ participation in this international event.

The FITVen, which will take place from November 28 to December 1, is expected to attract representatives from 42 countries, solidifying its position as the epicenter of tourism in Venezuela and beyond.
