Venezuela Recovers Firmly From the Attack on the Electrical System

The Bolivarian Government’s determination to ensure that basic needs are met while the recovery of the National Electricity System (SNE) continues was confirmed by the Venezuelan authorities following the sabotage carried out in the early hours of this Friday by the extreme right.

Early in the morning, President Maduro, as government leader, made a call to all the Venezuelan people.
«As always I am with the people and I find myself at the front of the situation, facing this criminal attack against the National Electric System. I have said it and I repeat: Calm and Sanity, Nerves of Steel! The desperate fascism attacks the people, but together we will overcome this new onslaught. The We will always win!» , he expressed through this message.
The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, confirmed the restoration of electricity «in various parts of the country under security protocols».
He reiterated that the extreme right is defeated and facing a political debacle, so he will insist on attacking the institutions and breaking the democratic functioning of the nation. He confirmed that the country is at peace and resumed its operations in the face of adversity.

For her part, the vice president for science, technology, education and health, Gabriela Jiménez, highlighted the awareness of the Venezuelan people and their serenity, as well as the operability of the public health system in all necessary medical care services for patients who require it.
With a message of calm and gradual but effective resolution of the crisis, Gabriela Jiménez pointed out that the people and the Venezuelan government have learned and travelled a long way to find solutions to the events that have tried to destabilize the country.
“We have a learning, social and ethical awareness as a people, we have qualified staff attending and managing the resolution and total activation of SEN”. He also ensured that he remains vigilant to ensure that the 79 high-complexity hospitals in the country continue to work and provide services.
“All health areas are operational, as well as the Critical Units, Emergencies, Emergency Trauma Therapy, Intensive Therapies, Surgical Areas, Dialysis Units and Blood Banks,” he said.
Sharing that “psychological labs, cyber attacks, sabotage and aggression to public services are intended to cause anxiety, unrest, disinformation and destabilization in the country,” the deputy minister insisted “it is important to remember that we have gone through very similar situations in the past and we have come forward”.
He stressed the Venezuelan policy that the president has guaranteed peace for Venezuelans, and therefore “we are fully confident that the electricity service will be restored as soon as possible”.
Also in the face of the events that show the violence of the extreme right in the country, the Sectoral Vice-President of Sovereignty, Security and Peace, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, announced the activation of the Centella Plan to address the national emergency.
“The Bolivarian National Armed Forces, through its Strategic Operational Command, immediately activated the territorial defensive system and activated what we call the shock force, which consists of a hundred trained officers and electrical engineers, hydraulic and that they are activated every time a situation occurs with some public service”, he pointed out.
In emphasizing that “everything is under control”, Padrino López said “the people know that they can count on the Bolivarian Government and its National Armed Forces, with their citizen security organs, that we have fought a battle in recent years, which has allowed us to synchronize each day better and advance towards a safe homeland”.
