At a recent ordinary session of the National Assembly, the president of the body, Jorge Rodríguez, presented a series of serious accusations against former foreign leaders, pointing to their involvement in international human trafficking and corruption.

Rodríguez placed special emphasis on former Colombian president Andrés Pastrana, who is featured in the “Pandora Papers.” The president of the National Assembly revealed that Pastrana has owned an offshore company in Panama since 2016, which is linked to a Colombian company that controls a bank account in the U.S. “To put it simply; money laundering,” Rodríguez said.

Former Paraguayan president Mario Abdo was also criticized by Rodríguez, who pointed out that during his term he left an outstanding debt to Venezuela of 325 million dollars in oil.

According to Rodríguez, Abdo attempted to bribe the opponent Juan Guaidó to receive part of this debt without paying it.

Rodríguez also questioned the actions of certain international media outlets that, according to him, are linked to corruption related to these former officials.

In a firm tone, he warned that any foreigner who enters Venezuela without an invitation will be considered an invader and will face the corresponding legal consequences.

The Assembly’s president also referred to Felipe Calderón, former president of Mexico, pointing out his alleged connection with representatives of organized crime and drug trafficking. Rodríguez stated that Ecuador has become an “international drug trafficking paradise,” where Colombian cartels have moved their operations.

Finally, Rodríguez reiterated his warning to Edmundo González Urrutia and anyone accompanying him, stating that they will be treated as invaders if they attempt to enter Venezuelan territory and that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) will act in accordance with the law.
