Venezuelan Authorities Kill a Criminal Linked to the Far Right Gangs

In the midst of the investigation processes to ensure peace and tranquility in the José Félix Ribas neighborhood, in Petare, a team from the Homicide Investigations Coordination Center of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Research Corps (CICPC) He located the criminal Carlos Alberto Aguilar Flores, alias Care Muerto.

According to the data recorded by the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace, Care Muerto was a member of the El Wilexis gang. The armed group committed murders, robberies, kidnappings, extortions and sexual abuse of girls and young people in the José Félix Ribas community.
After the Venezuelan authorities neutralized El Wilexis, a criminal leader linked to the extreme right in post-election terrorism, Care Muerto (resident of Zone 6 of José Félix Ribas) took refuge in Guaicoco.
The records of the Police Investigation and Information System (SIIPOL) indicate that he was required by the Court 26° of First Instance in Functions of Control of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas for aggravated theft, Illegal possession and carrying of a firearm and other request for escape of detainees.
The military and police deployment in Petare, ordered by President Nicolás Maduro and Vice President Diosdado Cabello, aimed to dismantle the criminal gang of El Wilexis, allegedly linked to the extremist opposition.
