Venezuelan Citizens Repatriate from Mexico Through “Return to the Homeland” Program

“With great enthusiasm, we welcome a new group of compatriots returning from Mexico, thanks to the Great Mission “Return to the Homeland”

A new group of Venezuelans from Mexico were received as part of the Great Mission “Return to the Homeland”. This was reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his social networks.

“With great enthusiasm, we welcome a new group of compatriots returning from Mexico, thanks to the Great Mission “Return to the Homeland”, promoted by the Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to protect and support our people abroad,” Gil said.

He added that “Venezuela opens its arms to its children, here it is not only a matter of social attention, but we need us. We are building a new country, having suffered a lot in recent years. We come from an economic recovery, step by step, with great force, in agriculture and industry”.

“It is a moment of reunion, there are people who have spent years outside and now together we will build the homeland,” the foreign minister told the Venezuelans who returned to the country.

The Foreign Minister says,
“Hope is here, in Venezuela, and we all build it, no one is going to give it to us, we will not “No one gives it away.”

This Great Mission aims to offer support to the countrymen, under the guidance of the chancellery.

The Great Mission “Return to the Homeland” was implemented since August 2018. Mexico’s initiative aligns with this effort and reflects a shared commitment to the well-being of the Venezuelan community.
