“Tons of food, medical supplies, and relief materials donated by the Bolivarian government and people have arrived in Damascus for our brothers and sisters in Lebanon, who have being affected by the bombings of the terrorist State of Israel,” he said.

“This is the first shipment in a solidarity bridge we have established to support the people fighting for a better future,” the Boliviarian diplomat added.

Jose Biomorgi, Venezuela’s ambassador to Damascus, explained that the shipment includes food, medical supplies, and relief materials intended for Lebanese people who were forced to leave their homeland and head to Syria due to the brutal Israeli war against their country.

The initiative is a message of solidarity from the people and government of Venezuela to the peoples of the region and against Israel’s war of extermination, he said, affirming that the Bolivarian nation stands by its friends in difficult times, despite the U.S. siege against its economy.

Syria’s Deputy Minister of Environment, Moataz Dohji, thanked the Bolivarian government and people for always standing by Syria, especially during the earthquake disaster that struck it in early 2023.

“Despite the economic conditions Syria is suffering as a result of the unjust war imposed over recent years, the siege, and the sanctions, it has always kept its doors open to its brothers,” Dohji assured.
