Venezuelan People Celebrate Inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro

The People of Venezuela together with representatives of Venezuelan social movements and the world, accompanied President Nicolas Maduro this Friday in the celebration of his swearing-in for the constitutional period 2025-2031.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela met with the revolutionary force of the people during the act of Recognition as Commander in Chief, Reaffirmation of Loyalty and Oath by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to the president.
Citizens from all over the country mobilized with flags and enthusiasm to the city of Caracas, where they received the president with love and joy.
The FANB held a parade in honor of the Commander-in-Chief of the FANB and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, at the Paseo Los Próceres.
The organized militias ratified their utmost loyalty to the reelected president of Venezuela and swore an oath of discipline, subordination, and loyalty.
Nicolás Maduro, considered the act, as the recognition and reaffirmation of loyalty with the Venezuelan people. “This is the great consolidation of the great constitutional victory for Venezuela of this January 10,” said the president.
The President reaffirmed that the Venezuelan military has a real Commander in Chief: “I am of the people and I only owe myself to the people, and I owe myself to the popular, police and military fusion”, he said.
The President accepted the oath and said that he is not in this position as a wimp or a coward: “I do not belong to the oligarchy nor do I obey orders from imperialism,” and he is willing to defend Venezuela from its external and internal enemies even with his own life.
He declared himself a Commander in Chief proud of his Armed Forces and recalled the refoundation promoted by Chávez, “Our Commander Chávez founded the civil-military union as the perfect formula to build the new State”.
He also highlighted that in the course of all these years of struggle against imperialist and fascist aggression, Venezuela has taken a giant leap and went “from the civic-military union to the fusion of the popular forces, of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces as the United Liberating Army of the XXI Century, and of the police forces of the country.”
