“While we are inspired by our liberators’ great patriotic ideals, the right-wing opposition is driven by hate, intolerance, racism, and fascism,” the Bolivarian leader said, expressing his condemnation of the misogynistic and discriminatory messages that far-right politicians have been spreading on social media.

Among those were Orlando Avendaño and Enmanuel Rincon, two politicians close to Maria Corina Machado. They labeled those who support President Maduro’s candidacy as “riffraff” and “monkeys.”

The Venezuelan president remarked that the justice system should examine the expressions of these political leaders, as their words constitute hate crimes.

The text reads, “The Unified Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) is not only a sign of joy but also of organization. We are sure of the victory that President Nicolas Maduro is building to guarantee Venezuelan peace and unity.”

“From Miami, they insult the Venezuelan people. That is a hate crime, and the Attorney General’s Office should act even though they reside abroad. Someday, our constitutional justice will reach them,” he said.

“I reject the fascist, misogynistic, and racist opinions emanating from these far-right furry rats. During the electoral period, they pretend to disguise themselves as people to try to gain votes,” the Bolivarian leader stressed.

“We have to know who we are dealing with. Let no one be deceived!” Maduro stated, reminding that far-right leaders had asked the United States to sanction Venezuela, which led to an economic war causing shortages in the national economy.

“Our victory in the elections on July 28 is a guarantee of peace, tranquility, and respect for the people… This electoral campaign has drive, joy, proposals, hope, and commitment. We are the bearers of the struggles of the past and the present. We guarantee a future of peace for a beautiful country with wonderful people who deserve it,” Maduro concluded.
