The Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Minister Tatiana Pugh emphasized that “this humanitarian aid aims to try to alleviate a little the suffering of the people who are being massacred.”

In this regard, Pugh mentioned that the shipment includes medicines, food, and household items, among others and she emphasized that these actions from Venezuela represent a “message of humanity, support, and affection,” and that one can always count on President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Revolution.

On the other hand, the Lebanese Republic’s embassador in Caracas, Elías Lebbos and the ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic Kenan Zaher Al Deen, thanked the Bolivarian Government for this “noble humanitarian gesture and solidarity.”
