The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting on Monday with her counterpart from Turkiye, Cevdet Yilmaz, with whom he reviewed the bilateral agenda and discussed expanding our cooperation in strategic areas such as energy, education, tourism, food and trade.

«The relationship between Venezuela and Turkiye is a tangible example of how cooperation based on mutual respect can generate concrete benefits for both peoples, therefore we agree to continue increasing our bilateral trade The vice president reported in a message on Telegram.

During the conversation, the vice presidents reaffirmed the joint vision of respect for the self-determination of peoples.

Rodriguez took the opportunity to thank his counterpart «for the consistent support of Türkiye and its firm stance in calling for an end to the unilateral coercive measures that the US maintains against our people».

Finally, he also denounced once again the Zionist genocide against our brother Palestinian people.

Vice President Rodriguez arrived in Turkiye from Moscow where she fulfilled an important work agenda within the framework of the Russian Energy Week.
