Venezuelan Workers Unite to Protagonize Peace March

Workers in Caracas, Táchira and other states of the country have joined the mobilization in support of President Nicolás Maduro.

The Venezuelan working class mobilized this Wednesday in a massive way in defense of peace, the homeland and the Bolivarian Revolution from the Libertador Avenue in Caracas (capital).

Representatives from various fields of labor attended the meeting, while some sectors of the right try to promote hatred and violence in Venezuelan society, following the presidential elections of 28 July.

With slogans of «the right will never again fill the streets of Venezuela with blood» and «We are a worthy, sovereign and peaceful people!» , the Venezuelans reaffirmed the value of the declaration of Latin America as a Zone of Peace, made in Havana, Cuba, at the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), an organization of which Venezuela is a member.

From the balcony of Miraflores, the president affirmed to those present that today he has been caring for the peace of Venezuela, the peace of our homeland. The fascists and criminals will not be able to do so. There they are with their violent Comanditos».

Movilizations in Venezuela, supporting the Peace Process

He also called on the working class to remain mobilized, standing up, aware and alert; and he asked the people to continue to restore their jobs and activities.

Workers from other states in Venezuela have also joined the mobilization in support of elected president Nicolás Maduro.
