“It is necessary to remind the whole world that this traditional modus operandi of false positives usually carried out by imperial meddling, to foment conflict situations with premeditation and treachery and then invade sovereign nations and peoples with all their military and economic might,” the FANB said.

The Armed Forces said about those plan that all are “already part of a worn-out libretto that has lost credibility in the international community.”

The military entity stresses that the government of Guyana, “continues to violate flagrantly the Geneva Agreement by unilaterally disposing of a space where it cannot exercise jurisdiction, maintaining foreign drilling and tankers carrying out exploitation and marketing activities in the disputed area.”

Once again, the FANB reccalled that all men and women of the armed institution unreservedly support the firm policy of the Bolivarian Government to assert and respect the popular mandate expressed in the Consultative Referendum of December 3, 2023, with which the historical rights of Venezuela over the territory of Esequibo were ratified.

“Hence, the firm will and determination to respond with forceful actions and in perfect popular fusion military police, to any threat that violates the integrity and peace of our beloved nation,” the statement concludes.

Earlier this Sunday, the Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez accused Guyana’s President Irfaan Ali, along with María Corina Machado, Marco Rubio and Erik Prince, of planning a “false flag” attack against an Exxon Mobil platform in Guyana Esequiba to justify hostilities against Venezuela.

According to Rodriguez, Prince would carry out the attack in the disputed maritime zone, violated by Guyana, recalling his criminal record and plans against the president Nicolas Maduro.
