The National Assembly (NA) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela met on Thursday and approved the Draft Agreement in repudiation of the gross interference in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela by a group of fascist MEPs from the European Parliament.

The first vice-president of the NA, Pedro Infante, stressed that the interference comes from a part of the European Parliament, formed by extreme right deputies from Spain, Germany, France, Hungary and Italy.
He referred to the Congress of Chile, which recognized Edmundo González Urrutia as president, and to a similar attempt in Colombia, promoted by the Democratic Centre, the party of former President Álvaro Uribe.
He said that we are in the presence of the use of parliaments controlled by the extreme right to attack Venezuela. He recalled that the European Parliament recognized in 2019 as President of Venezuela Juan Guaidó.
For his part, the deputy and former presidential candidate José Brito rejected the interference of MEPs in Venezuela’s internal affairs.
He questioned whether those MEPs should look the other way in the case of the genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian population, which they have not condemned despite the fact that the occupation has killed more than 42,000 civilians in Gaza since last October.
Denied that Edmundo González Urrutia had been coerced. He claimed that he travelled to Spain fleeing the pressures of María Corina Machado.
He recalled that after arriving in the country, González Urrutia issued a statement whose terms are literally identical to those of the letter published the day before by the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez. If he had been coerced, he would have denounced these alleged pressures upon arrival in Spain, Brito said.
The problems of the Venezuelans will be solved among the Venezuelans. The time of the colony passed long ago. Venezuela is a sovereign country and it must be respected. There will be no Guaidó 2.0 here, he emphasized.
