Venezuela’s President Highlights the Inutility of the UN to Confront Fascism

The Venezuelan dignitary said that the BRICS group is the hope for changing the world system.
Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Wednesday the uselessness of the United Nations (UN) to confront fascism and the international body’s legal inability to stop the crimes of Israel and Ukraine against innocent peoples.

During an exclusive interview given to the multi-platform information teleSUR, the president said that the main debate that has marked the 79th session of the UN has been the fascism of Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Zelensky.
It also addressed the crimes being committed against nations such as Palestine and the Arab people of Lebanon; the threats against Russia, and even Venezuela, which indicates that «we are at a key moment» in history.
«Either the UN gets its batteries up, or it will remain an unusable entity, with the Zionist-affiliated elites as responsible», he asserted.
The head of state recalled that a hundred years ago there was the League of Nations, an experience of a multilateral system based on international law, which murdered fascism, nazism and francoism with the complicity of the entire colonialist West of the time.
The Venezuelan president also pointed out that there have been two major issues in UN debates: the rejection of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Zionism, the fascism of Maria Corina Machado, Javier Milei, and crimes against the people of Gaza and Lebanon, on the one hand, and support for Venezuela on the other.
«In Venezuela we have stopped fascism in all its expressions and it is an example of how fascism is fought in peace and with the support of the people», he stressed.
The Venezuelan dignitary also stated that the BRICS group is the hope for changing the world system and moving to a new geopolitics of power.
«There will always be ways for humanity. Today there is a powerful alternative, compared to 100 years ago», he said.

The head of state stated that peace and political stability in Colombia is stability and peace for Venezuela and vice versa. And we will continue to warn about that», by denouncing the plans for destabilization based on the illegal espionage system Pegasus.
In that sense, he recalled that «it was possible to verify a payment made by the government of Iván Duque, heir of the narcopolitics of Álvaro Uribe and on his occasion we denounce the bloody crimes committed by Iván Duque», who was behind the plans to assassinate important political leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution.
«At the time, I denounced him for his participation in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse of Haiti. And from Colombia, the magazine Semana, which knew all the information about Pegasus, took things that Ivan Duque supplied to it from the illegal espionage system Pegasus», he said.
Maduro also recalled that they tried to sell the image that Venezuela was involved in Moïse’s death, and it was Haiti that captured the Colombian hitmen who murdered the Haitian president, who were responsible to the Nariño Palace.
«Who is this spying system in the hands of? What is it being used for now? To overthrow President Petro and simultaneously destabilize Venezuela. They are the same people, who are behind it. Always the CIA, the DEA, the FBI. They all have a bunker in Bogotá and from there they look for sicarios and mercenaries», he said.
Türkiye is a very important nation for Venezuela
Referring to the second Expoferia Türkiye-Venezuela, recently inaugurated in Caracas (capital), the Venezuelan president stated that both nations not only want to advance together, but have great opportunities for joint business.
“This year, there will be $800 million in trade with quality products produced by both countries. We are achieving a balance in the trade balance, the golden dream of a country’s economic relationship”, he said.
In that sense, he stressed that Venezuela and Turkey are part of those emerging nations that are emerging as part of the balance of the world and «we are in transition towards a solid economy with growing economic independence».
The head of state indicated that Venezuela is a world reference in moral, political and spiritual. “If anywhere you love Venezuela, it’s in the people of Türkiye. It’s a very important nation because it’s Eurasian,” he said.
He also indicated that he proposed to the Turkish president, Recep Tayyit Erdogan, to hold two international fairs in each half of the year, conceived as a super fair of commercial, economic and financial nature.
