Yvan Gil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, has issued a strong statement criticizing the recent activities of the U.S. Office of Venezuelan Affairs, located in Bogota.

 In his statement, Gil describes this office as “non-existent, laughable, and ghostly,” accusing it of acting bizarrely against the Bolivarian nation.

Gil claims that this office represents the interests of an “outgoing and immoral government” with a shameful record, including support for what he describes as genocide in Gaza and complicity in conflicts in Lebanon and Syria.

He also criticizes the alleged collaboration of the United States with Ukrainian forces during the conflict with Russia, as well as its participation in events such as the assault on the Mexican embassy in Ecuador.

The foreign minister defends the Bolivarian government, affirming its “impeccable adherence to international law” and the diplomatic norms established by the Vienna Convention and the United Nations Charter.

Gil demands an end to the hypocrisy of U.S. officials, who have harmed the Venezuelan people by hijacking assets and diplomatic offices.
