Media outlet Chilevisión released videos on Wednesday showing the operation carried out by agents of the Special Police Operations Group (GOPE) of Carabineros (militarized police), where Mapuche activist Camilo Catrillanca was assassinated.
The images show how officers fired several shots at people while following instructions from a helicopter during a chase.

Catrillanca died on November 14 due to a bullet in the back of the head amid the repression carried out by the special police group in the community of Temucuicui.
The audio visual material was recorded by Petty Officer Patricio Sepúlveda, one of the four officers prosecuted for the murder of Catrillanca.It also shows how the Carabineros try to assist him after firing multiple shots.
The policemen take him out of the tractor where he was while they put a compress on the lower part of his head and leave him on the ground. Then, he is transferred to a van to take him to a care center.
Also, the videos provide evidence of Carabineros's aggression towards the 15-year-old boy who was next to Catrillanca, who is thrown to the ground and immobilized by the foot of an agent before placing him in one of the armored vehicles.
This evidence is in addition to that presented against those involved in the murder of the young Mapuche and the reason why many of Chile's parliamentarians, including communist deputy Carmen Hertz, are calling for the resignation of Interior Minister Andrés Chadwick and the director of Carabineros.
