Spanish tennis superstar Rafael Nadal says he will take legal action against former French Sports Minister Roselyne Bachelot, who accused him of doping.
After his win against Gilles Muller in the second round of the Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells, California, Nadal said he would sue Bachelot and anyone else who repeats the allegations in the future.
The Spaniard said this was not the first time he had dealt with such allegations, but this would be the last time since anyone accusing him of taking drugs would not get away with it without legal action.
Nadal, winner of 14 Grand Slam titles and currently ranked 5th best player in the world, said his success is due to having trained since the age of 5.
Bachelot accused Nadal of doping without citing any evidence.
