"How much has Venezuelan peace cost us in these years, how much has it cost us to maintain independence, territorial integrity, the country's union, how much has it cost us to resume our path of growth and economic recovery with our own engines," emphasized the Venezuelan president during the closing of the international colloquium "Bolivar and San Martin: Bicentennial of the interview of Guayaquil."

The international meeting was held on July 25 at the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard facilities in Caracas.
During three days, delegates from several Latin American countries reviewed the historical events that marked the meeting between the heroes Simón Bolívar and José de San Martín on July 26 and 27, 1822.
Maduro also commented that Venezuela was heading towards a new era and emphasized that it is the product of the efforts of the Venezuelan people.
He also mentioned that he held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Chancellor of the State of Qatar, Mohammad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, and detailed his interest in the mechanisms implemented by Venezuela amid the sanctions.
