Black Twitter is swooning over the new hashtag #BlackMenSupportLeslie for users to show their support for comedian Leslie Jones, who was the victim of a racist and sexist hack on Wednesday after a month of intense social media abuse.

The hashtag created an outpouring of love for their “sis,” and Black women jumped on the trend to share in the empowerment.
“Every time a Black woman is harmed and we're silent about it, we're complicit in the harming,” tweeted Twitter user Shawn Taylor.
“We Black men have failed to support Black women for too long,” tweeted BlackAutonomist. “This needs to change.”
A few users tried to start #WhiteMenSupportLeslieToo, but it did not catch on.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday it would investigate the hack, which published nude and racist photos and her personal information, including her driver’s license and passport. Jones is most known as a cast member of "Saturday Night Live" and for appearing in the latest "Ghostbusters" movie.
