Under the hashtags “you are not welcome here” and “Trump with all respect” Mexicans have been excoriating the Republican nominee for U.S. president with remarks both humorous and hateful, in anticipation of the billionaire developer's visit Wednesday in Mexico City with President Enrique Peña Nieto.

"Listen @realDonaldTrump, we Mexicans expect nothing less than an apology for calling us 'criminals and rapists,'” said the renowned historian Enrique Krauze.

“I propose to say out with Enrique and out with Trump, these two idiots symbolize everything that is wrong with North America,” said the analyst John Ackerman.
